ELPA launches its new website – a treasure trove of play ideas!
Our new website is full of information, ideas and inspiration for everyone with a love of play. It’s packed full of resources all freely available to download, share and enjoy.
Our spark play ideas pages are designed with home, schools, nurseries and community in mind. There are posters, postcards, play packs and videos. Many have been made with children and we love to hear what they have to say.
If you know ELPA, you’ll know we love ‘loose parts play’. We now have a special page showcasing our involvement in an exciting European loose parts play project. Many of the resources have been created from ELPA’s projects, including our Loose Parts Play partnerships, and we’re delighted to share them. Hopefully, they will inspire you to play with all sorts of random, natural and scrap materials and to see what happens (we think you’ll find a little everyday magic!)
Why not explore the website and see what you can find? Perhaps you’ll meet Mica the puffin on one of their #whatevertheweather adventures, or a banana-carrying Unfeartie. Check out our team section – can you find out who loves playing in the snow, who prefers coffee stops to bunny hops, and who loves eating Spanish omelette?
ELPA’s goal is to promote and enrich the culture of play. Our new website is a way of helping us to do this. Children’s right to playis at the heart of all our plans, projects and partnerships. Whether it’s about local spaces, loose parts play, inclusion or school playtimes, we believe children should be part of the conversation.
We hope you like our new website and will recommend it to friends. Of course, there is a donations button – feel free to try it out if you’d like to! We’d love to hear what you think of the website and any ideas you have to add to it.
