Pac-a-Map

Pac-a-Map opens up conversations about play and play spaces and gathers information which can be used to:

  • stimulate conversations about play spaces in local communities
  • inform priorities and future projects
  • support the development of local Play Strategies and Action Plans
  • highlight issues surrounding play such as accessibility and inclusion.

Pac-a-Map is an engaging resource for reminiscence activities and for conversations between older people and younger ones.

Pac-a-Map is based on the idea of local knowledge contributing to a stronger voice for play.

COVID signage

During COVID-19 restrictions, we want to make sure our signs for organised community play are clear and accurate but still friendly and welcoming. They are designed to be easily understood without too many words to read. Here are the play-friendly signs created by the ELPA Play Rangers. Perhaps these will inspire your play-friendly signs too! #chooseplay
