Autumn Play Training

There are three inspiring workshop sessions across inclusion, sensory play and ways to get out and use our local green spaces:
• Inclusive Practice – Fiona Dryburgh, senior early years practitioner will share her experiences leading on inclusion in the early years. This promises to be an insightful and practical sharing with lots of opportunity for discussion.
• Sustainable, imaginative play with Play Talk Read – Gain confidence in using everyday items as materials for messy and sensory play. We’ll be using things like cornflour, rice, pasta, cardboard cereal boxes, plastic bottles, cardboard tubes to explore, play and have fun!
• Using our local spaces – Learn about animals that live in our local green spaces with Countryside Ranger Leigh McCrum. An interactive workshop to help you to spot tracks and trail signs when out and about. As always, this will be a fun and practical session, getting up close with nature.
Each workshop will run twice, so you can choose to join two different sessions. Sign-up will be on the day.
