Join us at PlayJam at Tranent Library

Wednesday afternoons from 2pm – 5pm

26th October – 21st December

What’s on?

We will be providing a range of fun play activities from arts & crafts and dressing up, to loose parts play and story making. The beauty of PlayJam is we want you to take the lead. The possibilities of play are endless and your ideas will help to shape the project along the way.

PlayJam is supported by East Lothian Library Services.

Who is it for?

Everyone – no need to book! Just drop in and stay as long as you like. We are not a childcare service so children & young people can come and go as they please. Children who are unable to come on their own should be accompanied by an adult.

Our resources and activities are designed to be inclusive and suitable for everyone in the family.

Location

Tranent Library is located inside The George Johnstone Centre, 35 Winton Place, Tranent, EH33 1AE.

Transport

Tranent is well served by local buses. The Library is an 8 minute walk from the nearest bus stop. Long stay parking is available across the road from The Fraser Centre on the same side of the road as The Salvation Army Charity Shop (the smaller car park directly outside The Fraser Centre is not long stay). Long stay parking is also available at Foresters Park, a few minute’s walk away. Please help keep children safe and park responsibly.

Weather and shelter

We will be indoors at Tranent Library.
